Are you a woman in recovery? If so, I recommend that you consider picking up a copy of

Each Day a New Beginning - Daily Meditations for Women

First published in 1982, this daily meditation book for women in recovery has special meaning for me.  I was in and out of quite a few rehabs before I ever started to listen and finally got sober. I remember being in my first rehab and a woman that I had never met before came up to me and started talking to me.  I don't remember what was said but when she left she gave me her copy of this book.  I held onto it through those years that I continued to struggle and still have it today, quite a few years later.  If I had to pick a favorite meditation book, this one would be it.

“There is never anything to change but our own perspective.” - Karen Casey

Now sold to nearly 3 million recovering women, this daily meditation books packs a lot into each twenty four hours.  It is filled with messages of hope, healing, lessons on self-esteem, connecting with other women, self-care, relationships and so much more.  There is a lot about spirituality and finding that connection that will enable you to foster change and strengthening 12 step recovery. I really enjoy this book and find that it is great resource for women in recovery, whether just getting sober or clean and sober for many years.
